In August of 2018 Aaron was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease at the age of 11.   He had no previous symptoms and just said one day he couldn’t sleep. Mom took him to the doctor and within hours he was in the ICU.   Since then Aaron’s new normal includes daily dialysis while he waits for a match for a Kidney transplant. This has been a long battle and in order to get on the transplant list Aaron’s family had to come up with $100,000 to cover the cost of the anti rejection medicine.   We contributed to the fund for this medication and follow Aaron’s journey. As of May 16th Aaron was placed on the list for transplant and June 1st he is still waiting for a live donor to be matched.
