Levi Hunt
Levi was diagnosed with a form of bone cancer of the age of 8. He has battled through chemo, radiation and surgery and is 21 months in remission. He never shot a gun but wanted to hunt deer like his Dad. So, the team from THOH taught him to shoot a rifle and took his entire family on a weekend get away that included fishing, hunting, campfires and a visit to see the Elk.
On September 11th - the first morning of his hunt with both parents in the blind Levi dropped a 9 point in its tracks with a single shot from the 243 that THOH had donated for the hunt. The family expressed this was the “Best Weekend” they had ever spent together. Everything from special food requirements to the finest detail of the hunt were planned. After Levi’s hunt a special dinner was held for his entire family (including Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and cousins) to present Levi with this trophy mount.
